So today I'm deploying out lab of 24 machines. Using the latest night (100726), everything started up great. They netbooted, started the deploy flow, and it waited for all 24, then started, all seemed well.
Once it started, it went to show the percent, or an error, I'm not sure, and all I see is the command. I don't see the output of the command. See screen capture here: http://home.pct.edu/~bpenglas/dscap.png . So far they seem to be restoring fine, but we'll see in a few hours.
I just wanted to alert you guys to this, as I'm not sure if others have seen it or not.

Ok, so the image didn't deploy at all. And I'm assuming what I see on the screen is related to the one fix mentioned in the nightly release notes: "routine added to prevent network repository sessions to get asleep which could lead the file server to drop the connection (ex: AFP auto-disconnect option).".
Also note: I have it set to run the screensaver after 10 minutes, and the machines sat at the runtime window all night, no screensaver ran.
For now since I have to get this lab deployed, I'm going to back down to the previous nightly and try that (NB100716).

Ok... While the multicasting issue was on our network (they had to re-import the multicast config on the routers, then it started deploying).
However, there is still the ls command popping up during the restore, which means it could get rid of some of the errors on the screen. Might be a good idea to hide the command, if possible.

Sure, we'll disable the log in next nightly.

It's not the whole log is it? or just the log of the specific feature?
I wouldn't mind seeing it under normal circumstances, just in this case it was throwing me off as nothing else was being printed when it should have.
