HI
So ive been using DS for a year now and well things aren't working like the used to.
When i try to create a master of a volume, i can not put it directly into the network repository, i dont know why b/c im not getting any repository error and i can see the other images i have. ill go to create the master and it will error out like 30sec into the process.
When ever i make an image it always wants me to store the image on the mac that the image is being made of, which frustrates me b/c i would love for them to go on the external HD I have.
Today i imaged a mac with an image i made a year ago and now it will not stop rebooting, i dont know if thats a issue with the actual mac or with DS cuz i know my image is good b/c i used it to do all my labs last year.
my repository is nfs://server/DS as far as i can tell its fully shared.
As you can tell im kinda frustrated at the moment and if anyone could assist me with my issue that would be great.
Thanks

Please try last nightly, we've improved the temp drive selection algorithm.
It should give priority to the biggest writable volume located on a different device (as long as there's enough space to store all the temporary files).

Ok so i tried that, but im still getting non stop reboots from any MAC i image. i found a work around but its lame.
so ill image a mac, the ill put in the os x install cd and install the os in archived mode, it fixes the rebooting problem but its not much of a fix, i have to go to each MAC in my two labs, 60+ computers. also i have to reinstall all my printers too.
lol man i should have just kept the DS v5 i was using a year ago, non of these problems.
