Possible to Redirect Apple's macOS Recovery to Local Repository?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the current line of Macs can still do Internet recovery if the macOS Recovery partition is missing?  Was wondering if any had looked into the possibility of intercepting a macOS Internet Recovery request and redirect a new T2-chipped Mac to a local repository instead?

Unfortunately thats impossible, there are countermeasures in place to prevent what you're suggesting.

If you're looking for solutions in regards to deployment on the Recovery HD/Internet recovery i suggest giving the following projects a look:

Bootstrappr
Installr
Twocanoes MDS

You can find likeminded people on the macadmins slack (#bootstrappr or #twocanoes-mds)

Awe, bummer.  Ty for the reply, though.
