2016 MacBooks and iMacs - WinClone

Can anybody confirm if they have managed to get the following working.

A Master which is a WinClone Image that they can push to a 2016 iMac or MacBook using Deploy Studio

Not a WinClone Package installer!!

Re: 2016 MacBooks and iMacs - WinClone

So you are going to:
Use something like the Triple OS Restore, but just two OSEs not 3
Image the Mac Side First, then image the bootcamp side, but instead of using a package installation (.pkg) you are wanting to use a .dmg file?

I don't think this would work. the DMG would be Mac Proprietary, so instead you'd have to build but then not deploy the image.
Restart the Mac and then restore with WinClone manually on the recently configured Mac.
( Boot the Mac to Mac Desktop, open winclone on the machine, open and mount the dmg  on the desktop, then  have winclone restore the contents of the dmg
to the BootCamp Partition.)

I did something similar back in the days of Winclone 2, but now with version 5 it would be much easier just to do the pkg deployment...

Re: 2016 MacBooks and iMacs - WinClone

Which version of WinClone?
Which Mac's?
Which Windows version?

The important difference is UEFI boot or MBR-hybrid boot.
If you deploy the image type HybridMBR to the UEFI type mac's (or the other way round) thing will not work.
I did not use recent versions of WinClone, but the built-in tools to make images in DS can make UEFI windows images.

So I cannot confirm your question, but read my report here:

I will go through your report and see how I go
