Netboot 10.12.2 issues?

Been trying to get netboot working on New macbook pros with TB. Created a DS netboot set on one with DS 1.7.5 and 10.12.2.
Added the new netboot nbi to our DS/Netboot server. Ctrl N to netboot loads but then finally stops here:

Not sure why it just hangs there

Do you have more than one netboot set?
Do you have a different model ethernet adapter?

Which ethernet adapter are you using?
Not all usb-c ethernet adapters support netboot...

Re: Netboot 10.12.2 issues?

I ran into this exact problem as well. Created a 10.12.2 NBI at one site with a new TB MBPro and this seemed to work fine. As soon as I copy the NBI to another site with DS 1.7.5 and try to boot with exactly the same adapter it just won't boot. I've tried both the black and white versions of the Belkin USB-C to Ethernet adapters, one from the Apple Store and one from a retailer.

From what I read the adapter is the key but has anyone worked out the best adapter / adapter combo yet which allows gigabit speeds?

The Apple USB ethernet adapter plugged into the Apple USB-C to USB works fine, but I don't think that's gigabit...

Re: Netboot 10.12.2 issues?

The combination TB3 —> TB2 + TB —> Ethernet (both Apple) works good and fast, see my post in http://www.deploystudio.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?id=7838

I got this to work by changing the permissions of the NBI to 775. For some reason it looks like the moving of the file changed the permissions. I also can confirm Apple USB Ethernet adapter plugged into the Apple USB-C to USB A works.
