Im having some issues with our deploystudio solution, at the current time it seems that the deploystudio service is not starting at all. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version at the current time. I'll give you a rundown of the problems i've had and what i have tried:
Everything was working normally, but stopped doing that when we moved our servers out of the building to a serverpark.
- My first issue was when i tried netbooting in as i usually have done got a prohibited sign and could not image our macs.
- I tried creating a new netboot set, this removed the prohibitory sign, but now the macs just rebooted after the globe had been shown for about a minute.
At the current time i could read this out of our logs:

Dec 15 09:37:54 osxsrv apspd: stream: received error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error -9838.) on: incoming stream: apns:com.apple.mgmt to host: gateway.push.apple.com:2195
Dec 15 09:37:54 osxsrv apspd: will attempt to reconnect stream apns:com.apple.mgmt to host gateway.push.apple.com:2195 in 300 seconds
Seeing as it complains about some SSL issues, and a bit of googling i came to the conclusion that our deploystudio or os x server was outdated.
- So i updated os X to sierra, updated all software to the latest version, including os x server and deploystudio.
Now when i try to run deploystudio admin i can not connect to the server, also when i look at the deploystudio prefane, it says that the service is stopped. Turning it on and off again does not work.
At this point i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling deploystudio, both with the uninstall package and manually. But to no avail.
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on here? And have any tips on what i should try?
My first guess would be ports.
Router based firewall type thingee/s,.. probably.
I would not think so. The deploystudio service is not starting locally on the server it self. Also, all operations are run within the same VLAN, so everything is happening without a firewall blocking anything.
