n00b here - DeployStudio Server Service continues to stop

Hi All,

I'm new to DeployStudio.  I've installed 1.7.3 on our Mac Mini running OSX 10.11.4 with OSX Server 5.1.  I've made sure our we have a DNS entry for our server and made sure DNS lookup works backwards and forwards.  I go through the DS Launch Assistant wizard and everything seems to be working.  I go through the steps to create a netboot set and when I check the DS service, it now says it's unreachable, that the address is not a valid host.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! We would love to start using this tool in our organization!

Thanks,
Monica

Re: n00b here - DeployStudio Server Service continues to stop

Ok, I figured out the problem.  My username for authenticating to my repository has an underscore in it.  For some reason, DeployStudio converts this to the ASCII code for _ which is %5F.  This is why my authentication is failing.  Is there any way around this?  Our service account standard naming convention uses underscores in all of the account names....HELP!! :)

What about your user account standard naming convention?

No underscores in the user account naming convention.  But I do not want it tied to my username.  I need it tied to an account where the password does not need to be changed every 60 days.
