Automated Restore Workflow Problem

I am having a problem starting automated restore tasks. When we click the play button it restores the image that is alphabetically at the top of the list regardless of what is set in the workflow. If I do a manual restore I can select  the image and it restores properly. I am using beta6.

Thanks

Re: Automated Restore Workflow Problem

Hi, the runtime should not display the workflows list if you have correctly selected a default workflow for this computer.
Verify with DeployStudio Admin that a default workflow is set for the computer you are trying to restore (Automation tab).

Re: Automated Restore Workflow Problem

I am not setting up a default workflow. I have just created a workflow that contains an automated restore image task. If I select the image I want and check the automate box, when I run that workflow from the runtime environment it defaults to the first image alphabetically in the list and not the image that I selected in the workflow. Let me know if this does not make sense.

Re: Automated Restore Workflow Problem

Hello, We also have that very same problem in workflow... We start off with a Restore Image HFS called Base.dmg and tell it to restore it on the first drive available. If we have an image (dmg) in HFS directory called AAA.dmg it will default to that no matter what we tell Restore Image to Select.  If we add packages to this and tell it to (Update the last restored volume) it can't find that either... So we place the drive name "Macintosh HD" in target  and check update the last restore volume and automate and then it works... Note: has to be done on every package appended...  Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Re: Automated Restore Workflow Problem

Both bugs are fixed in the beta7 that will be published by the end of the week.
Thank you all for the feedback.
