Unable to access DS

Regardless of what app I use, DS Admin, DS Runtime or DS Assistant. I get a message telling me "The address 'https://DeployStudioServer:60443' is not valid or the host is unreachable." However the listener seems to be running:

user@host # netstat -an | grep 60443 | grep LISTEN
tcp46      0      0  *.60443                *.*                    LISTEN
tcp4       0      0  *.60443                *.*                    LISTEN

If I look in the System Preferences though it says "Service: Stopped" and I'm unable to start it.

Looking in the /var/log/system.log I find these lines:

Dec 27 14:26:14 server com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.deploystudio.server): Please switch away from OnDemand to KeepAlive.
Dec 27 15:01:03 server DeployStudioServer[3796]: objc[3796]: __weak variable at 0x7fa5dae10da0 holds 0x7fa5dae10002 instead of 0x7fa5dae15a10. This is probably incorrect use of objc_storeWeak() and objc_loadWeak(). Break on objc_weak_error to debug.

Anyone seen this before and knows what to do about it? I now have a completely useless DS-server that doesn't do anything. :-(

Re: Unable to access DS

I have the same problem.
The last thing we did was upgrading to the last version of Deploy Studio from the previous one and renewing the Apple certificates. The Server is a 10.11.6

We could netboot but were unable to authenticate to DeployStudioServer "The address 'https://DeployStudioServer:60443' is not valid or the host is unreachable." (Same with the name or IP).
I then tried to access to DS from the OSX server itself, and cannot log either.

In the System Preference, the service is stopped. I can try to turn it on / off, the service will still have the "Status: Stopped"

Re: Unable to access DS

My problem is solved - it turned out that I used FQDN instead of com.deploystudio.server when creating SSL-cert for the server. Uninstall, Install -> Assistant for setup and choose the default com.deploystudio.server when asked about  SSL certificate solved my problem.

Re: Unable to access DS

Thank you, you led me to the solution.
I had 2 certificates for the server (FQDN, which i did not delete), and a certificate for DS.
I deleted the DS certificate "com.deploystudio.server" and i was able to restart the service and relog to DS.

I guess something went wrong when we renewed the Apple certificates.
