Install .app via Terminal

I'm trying to install a .APP file which is why I'm using terminal. I have tried the command in OSX and it works but when i try in the workflow it doesn't seem to work.

The install command is

echo 'mylocaladminpassword' | sudo -S /ESCOSX/Sophos\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/tools/InstallationDeployer --install

before this I have a copy command to that location of the Mac(everyone has read access)

Re: Install .app via Terminal

As a workflow script (presumably, postponed) will run with root privileges, there is no need to use sudo.
In your script, cd to ESCOSX, then issue:
./Sophos\ Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/tools/InstallationDeployer --install
