Re: Deploystudio server beta 10 & Multicast problem

Hi, you have to check with your network administrator which multicast address you can use.
In the meantime, use DeployStudio Assistant to set a multicast address in the range 224.77.2.0-224.77.255.255 or keep the default one (239.73.2.1).
Let us know if it fixes the issue.

Re: Deploystudio server beta 10 & Multicast problem

I set up a completele new install on 10.4.7 UB & Updates to 10.4.10 then, Deploystudio Beta 10, and now with the same networking settings it works,...

I still get 3 x when deploying, could be that the data-rate is to high...

I use 3com superstack switches, now i'll try a cisco if this goes better.

Re: Deploystudio server beta 10 & Multicast problem

Cool.
Now, the more efficient data-rate is to be fixed according to your computers' laptos disks performance.
4-5 MB/s should work on any machine,.
